Wives’ Group

Following his success at a 2018 meeting, Alan Butler is making a return visit to us and his topic is "what’s in a name?" Our meeting is on Tuesday 12 February at 7.30pm in the church hall. Our bring and buy theme is -something from a cupboard. All ladies welcome.

Calling All Lesson Readers

Over the coming year, I would like to meet with all the groups which play a part in the life of our church, to show my gratitude to each group separately, to share some ideas, and discuss any concerns or relevant matters of interest.

The first group being invited to a meeting is the lesson readers. If you usually read lessons at our church, regardless of the service or frequency, you are invited to attend a meeting on Sunday 17 February at 11.15am (coffee time) in the church. Please do come if you can. A glass of Prosecco or juice and biscuits will be served. David Busk

Taizé Service on 24 February

There will be a service in the style of the ecumenical Taizé community on Sunday 24 February at the usual Evensong time of 6.30pm. Please come, and spread the word.

Mission to Seafarers

We hope to make a visit to the Felixstowe base sometime in March and are appealing for hats, gloves and jigsaws to take with us. In the past everyone has been very supportive of our appeals and we hope you will be able to help again. Any queries please ring us on 01480 458700 or email at Olwyn.hurd@ntlworld.com.
