Welcome to St Mary’s
New to the Parish Church?
New to Godmanchester, or a visitor to the town, and you would like to know more about the St Mary’s community? Please collect a ‘Welcome’ flyer from the table by the entrance door. Do make yourself known to the Vicar, a Churchwarden or sidesperson and please join us in the church hall for refreshments after the 9.30am service today.
On behalf of myself and all my family I would like to offer our sincere thanks to all my friends from St Mary’s congregation who have been so supportive to my late mother and particularly to me during the very stressful and difficult time prior to her death and for the presence of so many of her friends at her funeral.
Many thanks for all who sent cards, letters and messages of condolence; to David and Jean for their love and prayers and to Colin, Ken and all the choir for the beautiful hymns, anthem and perfect rendition of the "Clare Benediction" (with very little time to rehearse the music!) Catheryn Turrell

Vicarage Home Group
We meet again on Wednesday 20th at 10.45am in the Vicarage, for prayer, bible study, chat and coffee. All are welcome, and there is no need to let me know you’re coming or to come each time. Give it a go!
Christmas Food for our Ugandan Friends
Last year we joined in with the Christmas Food Distribution Programme of the Friends of North Kigezi Diocese, our link with Maaya in Uganda. We helped three of the poorest families in our area with food for a month. It’s still only £40 per family – can we do the same again? Please give generously to the retiring collection after services between now and the end of the month.
