Youth Group
St Mary's youth group is a Godmanchester youth group for young people aged 11 to 18. We meet on a Sunday evening between 6.45 until 8.30. Mostly we meet in the church hall but sometimes we meet elsewhere. Please follow this link for our most recent programme. We send out E-mails every week with an update on where we are and what we are doing.
Previous activities have included
- A Murder Mystery Night set in Casablanca during the second world war (the two photographs above are from the night)
- Making bird boxes for the churchyard
- Having film nights when we sit and chill out - the last film was HAIRSPRAY
- We help organise church services and take part in them
- We eat vast quantities of cakes and sometimes make them!
- We are now in the process of making some short films for a film night
For the last 2 years we have gone to the Greenbelt festival.

We believe that the Parish Church of Saint Mary the Virgin, Godmanchester, exists to build up the individual and corporate spiritual life of our Church and to spread the love of Christ through word and deed, by enabling those who live and work within our town to come into contact with God’s love and come to faith in Christ.
