LAST CHANCE: An Invitation for all to enjoy the Leightonstone Festival Week 16-22 June

Across the Deanery churches are uniting to host a “Festival Week” full of community‑focused events to celebrate and welcome local people. The offerings include traditional village gatherings, a pop-up pub in St Peter’s Kings Ripton, events about church history and features, and a self‑drive architectural tour around 4 of the churches (Stow Longa, Alconbury, Catworth and Abbots Ripton) led by acclaimed historian John Vigar. Evening events feature a local author talk in Hamerton, a stained‑glass presentation in Molesworth, church parties and pub pop‑ups in Kings Ripton and Bythorn, and multiple quiz nights. The week concludes with patronal festivals and a history talk in Leighton Bromswold. Altogether, it’s a lively showcase of heritage, hospitality, and creativity— All are invited to come and enjoy — more details on the Diocese of Ely website: samuel.pedlar who is the Organiser.
