Harvest Festival & Gift Day

Today is our annual Harvest Festival and Gift Day. Please give as generously as you can to support the church through what promises to be a difficult time financially.

This year our Harvest donations will be going to thelocal Food Bank. You can visit their website which gives a lot of news about the work they do and how to help. Theirneed is very great at the moment so please be as generous as you are prayerfully able.

A New Archdeacon and a New Rural Dean

We have a new Archdeacon, Canon Richard Harlow, who will be Collated (licensed or commissioned) at St Peter and St Paul’s Wisbech today, Sunday 2ndOctober, at 4.30 pm. Revd Duncan Goldthorpe (Vicar of Brampton and other parishes) is our new Rural Dean. Please pray for God’s blessing on both.

Film Night & Gorgeous Dinner

The Friends are showing the award-winning hit film ‘Operation Mincemeat’ on Saturday 22nd October at 7pm in St Mary’s Church Hall, Godmanchester. We will be serving homemade ‘Chicken Superbe à laGodmanchester’ and a Trifle included within the ticket price of £15 and there will be a licensed bar and raffle.
