New to Godmanchester, or a visitor to the town, and you would like to know more about the St Mary’s community? Please collect a ‘Welcome’ flyer from the table by the entrance door. Do make yourself known to the Vicar, one of the Churchwardens or sidespersons and please join us in the church hall for refreshments after the 9.30am service today.

Funeral of Derek Billings

The funeral of Derek Billings will be held in church on Thursday 3rd January at 2pm.

Men’s Breakfast

The next Churches Together Men’s Breakfast – the first of the New Year – will be at The Barley Mow, Hartford on Saturday 5th January 2019 meeting as usual at 8am with coffee/tea before the meal. The speaker this time will be Charlie Newcombe and his subject: "New Year’s Revolutions". (note the spelling). The cost now will be £8 but if you are two together, one of whom has not been before, the charge is just £10. So do bring someone new along! If you are coming please let Andrew Fawcett (01480 458383 or know for booking purposes by 2nd January.

Please collect your Free-will Envelopes for 2019 from the table near the font. If you would like to join the envelope scheme or set up a standing order or direct debit please contact me on 457018 or candbjt.

Used Postage Stamps

The Hunts Society for the Blind would very much appreciate receiving your used postage stamps. If you are not already collecting them for another charity, please pass any that you may have to Valerie Dyson, or Liz and Peter Irving.
