Easter Lilies
Flower Guild invite donations for the purchase of lilies in memory of loved ones to be used in our flower arrangements for Easter.
You are also invited to make a personal dedication in the Remembrance Book which is placed by the memorial altar in the north aisle of the Church.
If you would like to take part please place your contribution in a lily donation envelope and place in the donation box by the church door.
Church Spring Clean
Saturday 9th April at 10am.
Volunteers needed to make the church sparkle in time for Easter.
Dusters and polish will be provided; and coffee and cake!!
It will be fun and, as the old saying goes, many hands make light work.

Electoral Roll
In order to be able to vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (which this year will be held on Sunday 1st May), you need to be on the Church Electoral Roll. If you are member of the congregation and are not on the electoral roll, please complete an electoral roll form and return it to me as the Electoral Roll Officer.
Copies of the form are on the table by the south door; the form is also on the church website. Look under Church Electoral Roll Applications – there is a copy of the entire leaflet and also a separate copy of just the application form. You can download the form and scan and email the signed form back to me at the email address below if you prefer. Election of Churchwardens and Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM)
The Election of Churchwardens and APCM will be held on Sunday, 1st May 2022, starting at 11.15am. The meeting includes the election of 2 Churchwardens, 1 member of the PCC and1 Representative(s) to Deanery Synod, who automatically become members of the PCC.
Nomination forms for churchwardens and PCC members are available from Kate Robinson (PCC Secretary) – klrobinson80.
If you would like to be nominated, please complete a form and return it by Friday, 15th April 2022.
Regulations on eligibility to be a churchwarden or a member of the PCC are on the back of the appropriate nomination forms.
Anybody registered on the local government electoral roll is entitled to vote for the election of the churchwardens, but only persons whose names are entered upon the Church Electoral Roll are entitled to vote at the APCM.
If you are member of the congregation, but are not on the electoral roll, please complete an electoral roll form and return it to me as I also act as the Electoral Roll Officer.
A copy of the Church Electoral Roll Form is on the church website. You can download the form and scan and email the signed form back to me at the email address below if you prefer.

Prayer List
Following a discussion at the PCC, it was suggested that the method of managing the prayer list should be altered to prevent people staying on long after it is meaningful. From now on we propose letting it be known that names will be kept on the list for a month, and then removed unless the person who asked for the name to go on the list requests an extension; which can of course be granted indefinitely.
We have now brought this plan into effect and you will notice the list of names is greatly reduced. Should you wish to add a name to the list, or have one removed, then please contact either David Busk or Jim Heeley who will oversee the list at this time.
